Iqama is an iOS Islamic prayer companion app for prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran, duas, Tasbih, Hijri calendar, reminders, prayer tracking, Squad accountability, and guided Islamic learning.

Information We Collect

Location

Iqama may use your location to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. You can control location access in your iPhone settings.

Account Information

If you sign in, we may collect your name, email address, and account details.

App Data

We may store prayer logs, streaks, reminder settings, preferences, Squad activity, and other app data needed to provide Iqama features.

Purchases

If you use paid features, purchase status may be managed through Apple and RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

Diagnostics

We may collect crash reports, performance data, and basic app usage information to improve reliability.

Ask About Islam

If you use Ask About Islam, your questions may be processed to generate helpful Islamic learning responses. Do not submit sensitive personal information.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide prayer times and Qibla direction
  • Save your settings and progress
  • Send prayer reminders if enabled
  • Support Quran, duas, Tasbih, Hijri calendar, Squad, and tracking features

Iqama does not sell your personal data.

Iqama does not use your data for third-party advertising.

Iqama does not track your location for advertising.

Iqama does not provide fatwas through Ask About Islam.

Iqama may use trusted services such as Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, Sentry, prayer time APIs, and AI service providers only as needed to operate app features.

Your Choices

You can:

  • Turn off location access in iPhone settings
  • Turn off notifications in iPhone settings
  • Update app preferences
  • Request account or data deletion
  • Contact us for privacy questions

Data Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no digital service can guarantee complete security.

Children's Privacy

Iqama is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent.
